A well maintained and reliable Electronic Security and Life Safety System should rarely cause you any problems and is designed to do it's job with minimal fuss. However, elements outside of our control such as power outages and vandalism can sometimes lead to a requirement for an Emergency Respnse, 24/7 Protection was incorpoirated with that requirement at the front of everything we do. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we will get you back up and operational within a few hours.

Robert is the owner and founder of 24/7 Protection. First starting out in the Security Industry in 2004 he has the knowledge and industry contacts to overcome any issues.

Role

Robert provides strategic leadership, drives company vision, manages opererations, ensures profitability and fosters growth by making key decisions.

Personal

Away from the business Robert voluntarily coaches three junior football teams and he is a qualified football referee, he ensures that children in the local area can enjoy the sport they love. Robert gives up his time to help local charities and he is also a committee member at his village conservative club where he offers his support with their compliance.

Lucy Charnock

owner / managing Director

Business

Lucy is the co-owner of 24/7 Protection. She joined the business in 2019 having worked in previous admin roles in local schools. Lucy is the glue that holds us all together.

Role

Lucy oversees the daily operations, implements company strategy, ensures profitability and leads teams to achieve organisational goals and growth.

Personal
Lucy is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to hike and paddle board with friends and family. Lucy volunteers as the committee secretary at a local charity called Millennium Green. Lucy is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and enjoys working alongside others who share that vision.

Thomas Rigby

Business development manager

Business

Thomas began his journey with 24/7 Protection as an Engineer so he is well suited to finding the right solution for our clients ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.

Role

Thomas identifies growth opportunities, builds client relationships, drives sales, and develops strategies to expand market presence. Thomas has been instrumental in the growth of 24/7 Protection. When he joined the business in 2019 he joined a small team with big ambitions. His passion and drive for success has been infectious and he is constantly looking for new ways to improve the organisation from within. Thomas is very structured in his approach to work and knows how things should be done, ensuring that the processes are followed at all times throughout the business.

Karl Price

TecHNICAL MANAGER

Business

Karl and Robert worked together at a previous company, Karl is very methodical and technically astute, with over a decade of experience in the industry.

Role

Karl is a valued member of the team, his role consists of troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Karl also liaises with clients to understand their needs, provides technical expertise, and drives innovation to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Daniel Devitt

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Daniel and Robert have worked together in various capacities since 2006, Daniel has an Installation focused background and he knows how to get tasks completed.

Role

Daniels role within the business is to manage project workflows, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring that installations and services are delivered on time and to the highest standards. Daniel plays a key role in ensuring that customer expectations are met, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Mark Webb

SERVICE SUPERVISOR

Business

Mark was Roberts Mentor when he was an Apprentice back in 2004, Marks expertise played a pivotal role in Roberts early development and it is great to be working together again.

Role

Mark oversees the delivery and performance of maintenance and repair services for a companies fire and security systems. Mark plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring timely responses to service requests, ensuring that all non conformities and critical defects are highlighted at an early stage.

Harry Eccles

Installation Engineer

Role

Harry is responsible for the setup and installation of fire and security systems, ensuring they are installed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Harry works on-site to install a range of systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms, based on technical designs and client specifications. Harry also conducts testing to ensure all systems function correctly and provides training to clients on system operation. Harry is crucial in delivering reliable and effective security solutions, and he works closely with Operations Manager to meet deadlines.

Leah Earnshaw

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Role

Leah provides essential administrative support within 24/7 Protection, assisting with tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling, and handling customer enquiries. Leah helps to maintain smooth office operations by organising documents, preparing reports, and managing communications between departments such as Operations, Marketing, Finance and HR. Leah will often be your first point of contact with the company as she handles the majority of the inbound calls. Leah has a positive attitude and has been a great addition to the team. Leah plays a crucial role in keeping our reports up to date.

Jason Johanson

Installation engineer

Role
Jason is responsible for installing and configuring fire and security systems, such as alarms, CCTV, and access control systems, according to client specifications and industry standards. Jason ensures that all equipment is set up correctly, tested, and fully operational, providing reliable protection for the property. Jason works on-site, interpreting technical plans, wiring systems, and programming devices. Jason also collaborates with clients to explain system operations and provide basic training, ensuring the project is completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

Ruby

Office hound

Role

Ruby is a key member of the 24/7 Protection family, she affectionalty greets all visitors and team members at the door with a wag of her tail, the office would not be the same without her. Rubys role is to be on hand at all times when we need to take 5 minutes to recharge. She will play fetch all day long if you let her, however she is more than happy to rest in her bed all day and not affect operations. Ruby is an everpresent at lunch time where she will try her luck and clean up any food you might want to pass her way.

We are based in the North West so predominantly all of our work is within Lancashire and Greater Manchester, however we do carry out projects and maintenances UK wide, from Scotland down to Cornwall, if our clients needs us to travel, we are more than happy to do so.

Do you maintain old systems installed by others?

Our Engineers have experience in maintaining a huge range of systems over the last 40 years, we do not upgrade systems unless you require additional features or if it becomes faulty.

How much to you charge for a site survey?

Our site surveys are completely free of charge and we are always happy to help you to decide what products are best suited to your requirements.

How often should I service my fire alarm system?

Fire alarm systems should be serviced at least twice a year by a qualified engineer to ensure they remain in proper working order.er

Can you install fire alarm systems in older buildings?
